Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born on November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was a former candidate for the US Senate and a TV presenter at MSNBC. She was also frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they were leaving the show to launch their own project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost on Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has also appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball married Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her passion for politics due to the fact that she became a mother in the 2008 presidential primaries and was also able observe the US presidential elections while in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected the people of that country and developed an appreciation for US political influence across the globe. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 1st congressional District in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 until July 2015, she hosted The Cycle, an MSNBC show The Cycle. She co-hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015.
