Barbara Ann Corcoran

 Barbara Ann Corcoran is an American businesswoman. The Corcoran Group was a New York City real estate brokerage she established. NRT purchased it for $66 million in 2001. Corcoran later left the business. Corcoran has participated in 12 episodes of ABC's Shark Tank seasons. By February 2020, she had signed 53 deals. The most significant of these was a purchase of $350,000 in Coverplay at 40 percent. Corcoran was the second child of 10 kids born to an Irish-Catholic couple working in the middle class living in Edgewater, New Jersey. Florence was her mother. She was an exemplary household worker. Edwin W. Corcoran Jr. was her father. He was constantly switching jobs throughout Corcoran’s life. At times, her family relied on deliveries of food that was free from a local grocer. Corcoran claims her father was a drunken man who treated her mother with disrespectful and disrespect. Corcoran struggled through her schooling before discovering that she was dyslexic. Corcoran entered high school in St. Cecilia High School Englewood after she had left her Catholic elementary school. Corcoran was proficient in a variety of courses her freshman year. She transferred to Leonia High School and graduated with a D.
